A Well rounded individual with the right mindset
MechWiz, as a concept to offer financial support to 3rd year Mechanical students, traces its roots back to the final year of the Mech ’05 batch. In those four years of engineering, we learned just as much from the campus environment as we did from the textbooks. The camaraderie we built came from being there for one another during both highs and lows. Whether academic, moral, or financial, there were always hands to hold and guide us and It’s only fair that we extend the same support to the students who have chosen to walk the same path.
Aarzenalz—a 63-member squad of fresh engineering graduates set voyage on various paths with our goal to bridge the gap between economic and academic needs of students who required more support than others. We worked together to raise funds substantial enough to appreciate a student's achievements with monetary rewards, selecting the recipient based on several criteria. This idea evolved as our careers progressed, and we now aim to provide a platform that, in addition to financial aid, equips future engineers with practical skills. We're focusing on mentorships, workshops to develop soft skills, resume building, guidance for pursuing master’s education, and being available to answer questions—while encouraging students to ask the right ones.
As many of us are geographically distant from the campus, we rely on input from students to assess their needs and provide support accordingly. Therefore, we strongly encourage students to use this platform to interact with us—share your questions, express your doubts, and communicate what you need.
